ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Our great polish ski-jumper Adam Małysz won four times during the World Cup competitions in Zakopane. In 2002 he set the record of “Wielka Krokiew” with a jump of 136.5 m, and he took second place twice and third place twice. Thanks to him and his excellent results the ski jumping has gained so much popularity in Poland (the author of the website is a great fan of Adam Małysz …).
The current record of Wielka Krokiew is 141.5 m and was set on March 24, 2015 (two days after the 90th birthday of Wielka Krokiew) by Kamil Stoch during the Polish Championships.
